Without access to things many students in Australia take for granted at school, like separate toilets for girls and boys, clean water or basic learning materials, many children will never get the chance to receive a quality education.

On UNICEF Day for Children, 24th October, come to school dressed in blue and raise funds to support the work of UNICEF. All funds raised in 2012 will help kids in 11 countries around the Asia-Pacific region receive their right to go to school through the UNICEF Schools for Asia program.

UNICEF’s Schools for Asia program is helping children go to school and stay there by providing access to quality education through Child-Friendly School. These schools enable children to learn in a safe and friendly environment from a trained teacher, as well as access learning materials and essential health and sanitation facilities. Child Friendly Schools help children learn and participate in school to develop to their full potential.
